My precious eldest daughter Yurou's 5th birthday.π
6 years ago before I had Yurou, never thought I will be blessed with daughters. Thought thats it. ζ沑ζε₯³εΏε½... (No luck with having daughters)π Seeing papa having so many daughters showering him with love, gifts, oversea trips, good food and cash makes me envy my own dad.π
When the pregnant news came? Was like pretty sure gonna be boy again.π So was all shocked when the doctor said, "It's daddy's little lover!"
Awwwwwwww....... That moment.... In my heart shouting out "HURRAY! THANK GOD. THANK GOD. I LOVE YOU MY ALMIGHTY GOD! THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING THE PRAYERS HIDDEN DEEP IN ME....πππ!"
Felt bad for hub though. But really really wanted a daughter so much......πππ At the same time turned to hub, told him sorry.... My face appeared all 'sad' to him. (But honestly. Am so happy!π)
Seeing me feeling sad, hub quickly ensured me told me, he love daughter too! He added, "Never mind, we are still young... We can try one more time for a boy... (Ohπ... Sorry 2nd one still girlπ)

My daughter?! Really is my daughter?! I have a daughter?!ππππππππππ
How do I put it?π’ How do I let the world share my joy? How to buy girls stuff and clothes and ribbon to tie her hair? Am a lady myself yes. But I dont know how to be a real mother to a girl ah....π£ Have 2 younger sisters yes. But thats like half a mother only....π Always protect my sisters from any harm yes. But how to be solely responsible for my daughter.... I scare might not know how and might not do a good jobπ£π
When Ah Wu and Ah Bong were naughty I would at times pull out the cane. But girls? Should I spare the rod? Really dont know..... Girls mustnt be cane ah...π I mean, I'm a girl and it was so painful when my parents used the cane on me?π£ So, have decided that NO. DAUGHTER cannot beat or cane.π€ Only love.π
Still, cannot believe it this little life (baby girl) here created by me? Was still so worried ah....
So I googled and searched the net with keywords like 'How to be a good mother to a daughter', 'What to look out for to care for a daughter', 'What is the difference between son and daughter' and so many more! π Until dont know why I came across articles like, 'Child (girl) molester', 'Little girl got raxx by own uncle' etc. Etc. Rage. All RAGE. And of cos, scare.....π£
Turned to hub told him, no matter where my daughter go we must be around. Dont tell me you wanna bring my daughter out without me or another family member tagging along. CANNOT. Dont ever leave my daughter in the house when we go to China. Not even leave her in the house. I go where, my daughter go where. She go where we follow. Hub told me to relax... Say his hometown is safe...
Told him sternly NO.π I dont care. Never leave my daughter behind anywhere. Never.
Awwww..... My Yurou...
To date Yurou has never joined any excursion by the school. Unless I have the time to tag along with her..π Yes, do know they can learnt things through these trips, beyond the textbooks. We can bring them to these places ourselves with her sister.
Hub always say its an over reaction from me... Is it....? Is it I got something wrong? Am just worry their little body will be hurt. And if anything (touch wood) happens will be affecting them for life.π’π Dont want ah.......π£
Guess I'll have to try to adjust myself slowly hor...?

Yurou's 1st Birthday celebration. Hub spent about 600 for a meal of Chinese crusine. Her 1st birthday cake bought by Ah Teng.❤
So I said hub spent $600+ (a table of 6pax) on a meal for Yurou's 1st birthday right? Teased him so hard for that! Told him that its so obvious that he love his daughter more than me. My birthday we usually go movie and Jap food less than 200. No gifts and all expenses paid by myself somemore ah! π
His reply? Smilingly "My first daughter mah...." π Win.

That was a big celebration. Cos we did her birthday and house warming together. Rule set for guest was, no gifts/money is allowed.π
Till now even with Yuxuan I still strongly feel that hub love Yurou more. Really. No bluff you.π There. Can you see the love in his eyes? Gek siao keep denying still.π
Yurou's 3rd Birthday celebration at our house too. Same. All food, deco, cake and dessert all arranged by Ah Teng again.... π Yurou is really blessed.... See how happy she is..π

Yurou's 4th Birthday celebration was at Ah Teng place. Same. Basically everything arranged and prepared by Josh and Ah Teng. Shopkins Theme!π
So this year Yurou's request on the theme colours are purple & pink. She say she want everything to be purple and pink. Ok. She didnt tell me. She told Ah Teng about 3 months in advance.π
And this Ah Teng really go and plan 3 months ahead! ππππ ALL done by her.π²
Yurou's dress, decorations, desserts, food, cupcakes, birthday cake, finger food etc ALL DONE BY HER AH....π❤❤❤❤❤
This sister of mine.... Never once stop loving my kids despite having her own now.. π She has been discussing with Yurou directly on the arrangements. I wasnt the least in it... Cos have a weird thing with me. When I work for others, I'll give my all to my employer. Work is always priority. Whenever a call from work came, my family members all know they have to leave me alone. All volume automatic down.π
So Yurou has been discussing with Ah Teng 3 months prior to Yurou's advance birthday celebration right...?
On that day, we told her "No? No one is celebrating any birthday cos we all forgot!" ππ
This is ah teng telling her she forgot too.π
And she trying hard to control her saddnessπ
Actually I wanted to test her. To see if she would demand and have expectations of others.
Am happy she dont... Just I know she is a little sad.π
They both agreed its all my fault.π£ππ that I didnt remind everyone.π
Then we proceed to plan... Ah Bong brought Yurou out for about 2 hours...... During the 2 hours I was so busy......... taking pictures and videos of everyoneπ
You thought I would say preparing? Nah. Cos there is something call 'sisters'π

Finally! They broke it! The sweets in it came out!

A family. Is where love begins, taught and learnt. My family.... Where I learn how to love and to give. If you think you are lacking of love. First, learn to love people who love you. Dont say you are not loved when you dont even love your family.
Then we went inside. This is Yuxuan tryna 'seduce' Jun Jun when Dith Dith is not watching. π
We all ended the day with such great fun.... Yurou was so happy..... ❤ Our guests are awesome and they are like part of the family.
